Cruel 2 B Kind is an assassin game with a difference: you kill your opponents with random acts of kindness! Duel with other assassins to see who can be the nicest or ambush the unwary with a deadly sonnet. A wide game played out in a secret location in central London, there is no way of knowing who is playing and who is just an innocent bystander. Will innocents be caught in the cross-fire? Oh yes. How long can you survive on the mean streets before someone is brutally nice to you? A game for all the family.

Jane McGonigal and Ian Bogost, run for Hide and Seek 2008 by Minkette
Cruel 2 B Kind was designed and developed by Jane McGonigal and Ian Bogost, and is being run at this year's Hide and Seek festival by Minkette.
Minkette knows a secret. There are games to play out there hidden inside real life, just so long as you don't get caught. Minkette designs street games, ARGs and Theatre experiences that aim to blur the boundaries between real life and everything else.
